This is where I get the chance to tell the people out there reading my webcomic a little bit about me, and how I got here.

About Me | |||||||||||||
My name's John Redman, and I live in Tilbury, Ontario. (that's in Canada, oooh!) I'm currently a student at Tilbury District High School, though I'll be heading to the University of Windor next September. Until then it's nothing but sunny days, and a ton of prep work. Come to think about it , now is probably the worst time in my life to start a webcomic. Oh well, what's done is done. I have been a big fan of webcomics for some time, so I felt I owed the people something, seeing as I never had anything to contribute before. I don't really expect this to be much of a success, but I've been wrong before. Anyway, my e-mail's at afterlife_john@hotmail.com, so if you have anything you want to say back, go ahead. I decidedto do a sprite comic because of my complete and total lack of art skills, plus I have a profound fondness for older games. Again, I felt that I needed to return the favor to the games that taught me such things as "You gaze at your reflection in the water. How dirty! Come, wash your face." I'll put up some sort of bonus if anyone can e-mail me with the answer. So, enjoy the ride, however short or long it may be. |
The programs I use are pretty simple. pretty much anyone could do what I do. I use paint to do the comics, and most of the site graphics. I use some program I downloaded called "Xnview" to change the .bmp files to .jpg files, for your convenience. However, this seems to make them all fuzzy, so I may need to find some substitute for it later. Also, the site was built using the Yahoo! PageBuilder 2.61.65, which is near impossible to convert into the necessary Keenspace tag system, so again, it looks like I'll be shopping for a new page maker. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
